Warwick likes his editors to have a certain look.

Warwick Sabin has stepped aside to let a Harper’s editor, Roger Hodge, take over at The Oxford American.

Read all about it in the NYT.

In case you missed it, this guy is a “son of the south”. I haven’t heard that phrase since Gone with the Wind- and out of the mouth of the NYT, none the less!

Did somebody hear my gripe about carpetbaggers? (That post did get a hell of a lot of hits…)

So who is this Rhett Butler?

Mr. Hodge is the author of “The Mendacity of Hope,” a critique of President Obama published by HarperCollins in 2010, and is currently working on another book focusing on life in the borderlands of West Texas.

Roger must be legit. Uh, wait.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet the new Southern Regional Chairman of the Eastern Liberal Establishment! (BTW, Big Dog II is still pulling all the strings.) And I thought that the Reconstruction was over.
